As a Person Centred counsellor I feel it is important that you feel in control of your therapeutic journey. You choose what to bring to our sessions and at what pace.
Each individual will have their own reasons for seeking counselling and each will need something different from therapy. My role is to facilitate a safe and confidential space where you are able to recognise and explore your own individual needs. I do this by offering an opportunity to be genuinely heard and understood without judgement or condition. We will work together gently, respectfully and at a pace set by you.
“When someone really hears you without passing judgement on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mould you, it feels damn good”
Carl Rogers
